Labor Day
Beginning with Labor Day, the first week of September is National Payroll Week. According to http://www.nationalpayrollweek.com/, this week “celebrates the hard work by America’s 156 million wage earners and the payroll professionals who pay them.” I want to take this opportunity to honor our 3300 hundred employees located all over the State of Indiana for the great work they do each day for our residents. And I specifically want to thank the staff in our buildings and in our Corporate Office, who work diligently all year long to get new hires entered into the system, code and tabulate hours worked, calculate benefits and 401K contributions, work through numerous ESOP requirements, and take care of countless important tasks for our employee-owners.
