As a response to the growing needs of the community, The Boulevard offers a strategy of care and support for those facing Alzheimer’s or various other dementias. The Boulevard is the newest Alzheimer’s unit of its kind in Miama County’s nursing homes.  It features spacious rooms and décor filled with historic memories of the Peru / Miami County area, a dedicated courtyard for the enjoyment of the Alzheimer’s patients and their visitors, specialized programming and a variety of activities offered throughout the day. Our nursing and rehabilitation center works with discharge planners from Dukes Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, and Howard Regional. We also work with local resources such as the Miami County Chamber of Commerce.

The Peru Home, located in Miami County Indiana, was purchased by the Miller family in 1972. After several expansions over the years the facility is now licensed for 130 beds, including 24 Private Rooms that are Medicare certified.
